Angelina Jolie is well-known for her accomplishments as an award-winning actor, director, mother, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Her impressive wardrobe serves as inspiration for designers and fashion enthusiasts. However, in a recent interview, Jolie mentioned that her fashion choices are driven by practicality and a desire to avoid the spotlight.

In a recent interview, Jolie opened up about the challenges she’s faced since her separation from Brad Pitt in 2016, the father of her six children. Ongoing legal disputes with Pitt have kept her in Los Angeles, a place she’s not particularly fond of. Jolie expressed that her children are her true friends during this difficult time.

Angelina Jolie has indicated that she’s considering quitting acting. She expressed a desire to move away from what she sees as an unhealthy Hollywood and spend more time in Cambodia. However, ongoing issues in her divorce with Brad Pitt are limiting her ability to travel freely and make these changes.

The daughter of actors John Voight and Marcheline Bertrand began her acting journey at the age of seven in her father’s 1982 film, Lookin’ to Get Out. Despite achieving fame and later becoming a superstar, she confessed that something always felt like it was missing.

“I never found Hollywood to be impressive because I grew up around it,” Jolie stated in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published on Tuesday, Dec. 5. “I didn’t see it as something significant or important.”

Angelina Jolie expressed her desire to leave Los Angeles earlier, but her extended legal disputes with ex-husband Pitt have kept her in the city.

“After my divorce, I lost the freedom to live and travel as I wanted. I’ll move when I can,” Jolie explained.

In the Wall Street Journal, Angelina Jolie discussed the need for her and her children to heal, explaining why she took a step back from working in movies. Over the past seven years, she has only appeared in five films.

Due to the current circumstances, Jolie appears to be considering a move away from Los Angeles. With a home in Cambodia, where her oldest son Maddox was born, she’s also exploring projects beyond the realm of movies.

One such project has led Angelina Jolie to establish a presence in New York City, launching a luxury fashion brand. In a Vogue interview from September, she explained her decision to step back from her significant roles with the UN Refugee Agency.

Now, working alongside Chloe creative director Gabriela Hearst, Jolie is involved in selling clothes in a building once owned by Andy Warhol. Her vision for this space is to function as a cultural center and design workshop, featuring a gallery for local artists and a cafe in collaboration with refugee Organizations . For over two decades, Jolie has been working with the UN, visiting camps in various countries, including Cambodia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, India and others.

Angelina Jolly shared that “I find comfort with people who have experienced hardships because they are often more honest and connected, “I enjoy being around those who have survived and are refugees because they’ve faced many challenges, displaying not just strength but also humanity.”

The star of Salt has committed to acting in several more projects, including a third installment of Maleficent with Disney. Last year, she secured an international film and TV deal with the British-based company Fremantle. Jolie is also involved in producing the Broadway show The Outsiders, set to open in April. Angelina Jolly is shooting Maria as Callas, her first role in two years, which started production in Paris in October.
