In an exciting announcement, it has been confirmed that Jake Paul will enter the ring to fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a highly anticipated boxing match. This event will be livestreamed exclusively on Netflix.

The fight is scheduled to take place on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be available to all Netflix subscribers. Details about the co-main event and undercards will be announced at a later date. The event is a joint production between Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), owned by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian.

This won’t be the first time Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have appeared on the same boxing card. In 2020, Paul fought in the co-main event of a pay-per-view where Tyson had an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. This was Tyson’s first boxing match since 2006. In that event, Paul emerged victorious by knocking out former NBA player Nate Robinson in the second round. It was Paul’s second professional boxing match.

Since his debut in January 2020, Paul has built an impressive professional record of 9 wins, 1 loss, with 6 knockouts. His most recent victory came on March 2 when he defeated Ryan Bourland via TKO. On the other hand, Tyson boasts a pro record of 50 wins, 6 losses, with an impressive 44 knockouts.

Reflecting on his journey, Paul expressed his excitement about facing Tyson and testing his skills against one of boxing’s most notorious fighters and biggest icons. He emphasized the magnitude of this event, highlighting the fact that it will be the biggest fight in history, taking place at the largest NFL stadium in the US and broadcast live on the world’s biggest streaming platform. He invited everyone, whether they are watching on Netflix or attending in person, to witness this extraordinary fight. Paul also acknowledged his ambition to become a world champion and saw this match as an opportunity to prove himself against the greatest heavyweight champion, the “baddest man on the planet,” and the most dangerous boxer of all time.

Tyson, too, expressed his enthusiasm for the fight, looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium. He recognized Paul’s growth as a boxer over the years and anticipated a thrilling match between the will and ambition of a young fighter and the experience and aptitude of a boxing legend. Tyson noted the significance of this moment, as he had previously fought on the same undercard where Paul began his boxing journey and now intends to finish it.

Legal representation for Most Valuable Promotions and Jake Paul was provided by Michael B. Abramson of Solomon Ward, while Tyson was represented by Andrew Ruf at Paradigm.

This marks Netflix’s latest venture into the live sports arena. Recently, the streaming giant aired “The Netflix Slam,” a tennis match between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz, and also broadcasted the golf event “The Netflix Cup.” In addition, Netflix is set to become the weekly home of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” starting in 2025.
